Alternative technical solutions are identified and evaluated, to be compared in terms of feasibility, performance and economic parameters
Analysis of the AS-IS situation: analysis of the operating logics (inbound / outbound), analysis of internal flows, analysis of volumes …
Definition of the TO-BE scenario considering company growth: evaluation of future flows, formulation of objectives (performance / level of service), market growth and change …
Identification and evaluation of possible alternative solutions: macro project layout, macro organizational interventions, macro WMS functionality…
Cost benefit analysis: estimate of the investments necessary for the realization of the proposed solutions, estimate of the achievable benefits
Implementation plan (macro description): drafting of the implementation plan for logistical activities, macro project gantt
Detailed solution Project
The chosen solution is deeply study in every part (layout, supply specifications, economic analysis, gantt, …)
Detailed organisational model for the new solution: definition of operating logics (inbound, internal, outbound and shipment), sizing of human resources, definition of operating standards
Detailed layout definition for the new solution: Sizing of warehouse areas, design taking into account road conditions and safety means, sizing of the necessary technical resources (systems and equipment)
Drafting of the specifications for the supply of the systems, equipment and logistic means: vehicle specifications, logistics systems, offers to suppliers, WMS specifications
Final economic analysis: estimate of the investments necessary for the realisation of the solution, estimate of the achievable benefits
Drafting of the implementation plan for all of the logistics activities: project gantt, detailed implementation plan
Implementation Support
We assist the company in the implementation phase, through project management activities, training, …
Project assistance: launch tenders for suppliers, evaluation of offers received, coordination on site and during implementation, assistance in implementing WMS changes
Support for the start-up of the new “warehouse system”: education and training of employees on the new work organisation, definition of standards and KPI for forecasting and monitoring performance
Performance monitoring (control panel): Performance monitoring and adoption of the appropriate corrective actions to achieve the expected results
